There is no statutory paternity leave in The Gambia.
>Wages must be paid at a monthly rate, 1 month’s notice.
>Wages must be paid at a fortnightly rate and the employee has been employed for less than six years: 1 fortnight’s notice.
>The employee must have been continuously employed for at least six year: 1-month notice
Employees in The Gambia are entitled to severance pay that equals 6 months of salary after one year of service (half of their annual salary)
