Peoples Choice Awards: Our Mauritius team wins Best Business Consultancy Services Award!
Our Mauritius team has achieved local recognition with an award for best business consultancy services, received at the Peoples Choice Awards Mauritius 2023.
Representatives of the Africa HR Solutions team received the award during a ceremony that took place on the 30th of November 2023 at Voilà Hotel Bagatelle. The event was attended by members of the press and a host of distinguished guests from the private and public sector, most notable of whom were H.E, Mr Eddy Boissézon, the Honourable Vice President of Mauritius; H.E, Mrs Maya Hanoomanjee, former Speaker of the National Assembly, former Minister of Health, and Former Ambassador of Mauritius to India, and Mr Matlhaba Mogadingwane, 1st Secretary to the South Africa High Commission.
It was an occasion to celebrate the resilience of businesses, and the robustness of the economy when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic – the repercussions of which are still being felt today. The CEO of the Members Business Network (Mauritius), Jackie Demetriou, said as much in her speech:
“…we honour the businesses that have shown exceptional resilience during difficult times. In the face of adversity, you have persevered, adapted, and continue to adapt, providing us with the goods and services we need and deserve. You have created opportunities where others saw obstacles and shined a light of hope when darkness loomed.”
A big win for the Africa HR Solutions team
This win is rather significant, given Mauritius’ dynamic economy and especially its growing financial services sector. To have been chosen among such a diversity of other competitors, that too, by the public as opposed to a jury, shows just how well-rooted our operations are, both in Mauritius, and across the other 50+ countries we serve in mainland Africa.
Emboldened by this win, we will continue to pave the way towards excellence for our clients, whether as an EOR, a PEO, a payroll service provider, or in any other capacity.
