Africa HR Solutions has won the Regional Payroll Provider Award!
Every year since 2014, the Global Payroll Association – the world’s premier payroll professionals’ organisation – organises the Global Payroll Awards, a ceremony that gathers hundreds of the world’s most highly-regarded payroll professionals from Europe to the Americas, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
The Awards have multiple categories, created to honour exceptional individuals, teams, and companies operating within the payroll industry.
On the 27th of June 2024, the GPA held the Global Payroll Awards 2024 edition in Athens, Greece. Payroll professionals flew in from everywhere for a tightly-packed programme, including a symposium and an award night. Among these guests were our Head of Operations, Kevina Takoordyal, and our Head of Client Relationships, Grant Geraghty.
During this event – live-streamed for all to see – awards were being handed out, and when came the moment for the announcement of the Regional Payroll Supplier Award… “Africa HR Solutions” resonated.
We are proud of and humbled by this recognition, awarded by a jury of our respected peers in the industry.
The Regional Payroll Award is given to one payroll supplier across the entire world.
It recognises the winner as the best regional payroll provider, across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Africa included. It is with great joy that Kevina Takoordyal and Grant Geraghty both accepted the award, on behalf of the whole Africa HR Solutions team, and on behalf of all those who believe in Africa’s potential. We are proud of our humble contribution in raising Africa’s good name to new heights. Above all, however, we are particularly moved by the recognition, at last, of what we have always held to be true: the immovable fact that Africa is full of talent, and has more than what it takes to shine, and even to lead the way globally.
For us, this award comes as an acknowledgement of the hard work and strategic development we have been doing for over 14 years now…We believe that an award like this is not just the result of a single year’s worth of hard work but rather is the culmination of years of striving.
Truly, this award has been years in the making for us.
From our eager beginnings in recession-era 2009, to our development in the subsequent years, through the challenges posed by the pandemic, and to the update of our offer and systems for the past 4 years…It is all these efforts, as well as our clients’ trust throughout the years that have led to this recognition today.
During the ceremony, Africa HR Solutions was also pleased to sponsor the Automation and Integration Award 2024. We strongly encourage the use of automation and new technologies to improve payroll processes – which is why we were so eager to support this category, and the people revolutionising our industry. Congratulations to ConnectMyApps for a well-deserved win!
