Africa HR Solutions will be attending the Humentum Annual Conference 2018. This is one of the largest, members-only, gatherings worldwide. More than 1,200 professionals in the international relief and development NGO community from across the globe are expected.

What is Humentum

Humentum is a non-governmental Organisation (NGO) is any non-profit, voluntary citizens' group which is organised on a local, national or international level. Task-oriented and driven by people with a common interest, NGOs perform a variety of service and humanitarian functions, bring citizen concerns to Governments, advocate and monitor policies and encourage political participation through provision of information. Some are organised around specific issues, such as human rights, environment or health. They provide analysis and expertise, serve as early warning mechanisms and help monitor and implement international agreements. Their relationship with offices and agencies of the United Nations system differs depending on their goals, their venue and the mandate of a particular institution.

The Humentum community comprises of today’s international relief and development Organisations. With 330 Organisational members, the community is made up of professionals from different sectors with expertise in international development, sector experts with deep roots in global issues, nonprofit policy Organisations, and academic institutions advancing sustainable development.

The African continent being a central place of need in terms of disease, water and food supplies amongst other hardships, many of these aid-relieving Organisations focus their work and efforts there.

Our Mission

With a complex and challenging HR landscape, our PEO or Employment outsourcing and Payroll services assist the mobility of their people. We also facilitate the immigration process and provide work permits for foreign nationals. Currently Africa HR Solutions works with 40 NGO’s across Africa, and we hope to grow this number.
