Predominantly agricultural, the Republic of Guinea depends on their
production of rice, coffee, and fruits. The breeding of animals is an
important factor in the country. Some of the animals are: cattle, sheep
and goats. Apart from these two, the Republic of Guinea has about a
third of the world’s bauxite mined daily with the help of international
companies. Minerals such as: gold or iron contribute to 70% of all
exports. However, Guinea who have a poor developed infrastructure will
still have some concerns.
Conakry is apparently the wettest capital in the world with an incredible 3.7 metres of rain per year! Who’d have thought it?
