Employment agreements are made in either oral or written formats in Rwanda, though many employees prefer a written agreement that outlines all details about their salary, compensation, leaves, and termination information. Regarding termination, the notice period depends on the length of service. Several other benefits are car allowance, housing allowance, loans, and telephone allowance.
