Why we don’t offer recruitment with our EOR service

EOR service

Many EOR (Employer of Record) service providers offer recruitment as part of their solution.

But Africa HR Solutions doesn’t, which may be surprising, and even vaguely disappointing… until you learn why that is so, and how, as a client, you are not missing out.

But first…does this mean that Africa HR Solutions doesn’t actually work in the employment sector?

No, it is only the first steps of employment that we do not personally manage, i.e head-hunting and recruitment. But we take care of all the remaining aspects of employment for you:

  • Contract drafting and employee classification
  • Onboarding
  • Payroll
  • Benefits Administration
  • Compliance with local legislation
  • Offboarding
  • And more standard or exceptional services

Why we don’t offer recruitment services:

Because we want to focus on what we do best for you

We believe in specialization – which is why we focus on Africa, for example, as opposed to the whole world. We are not jacks of all trades, rather, we are experts in what we do.

With recruitment being such a time and labor-intensive task, we’ve chosen to focus our team’s efforts on other crucial responsibilities and excel at what we do for you. This kind of specialization is how we can offer 100% GUARANTEED compliance in 50+ countries across Africa. Other service providers simply do not and cannot provide this, mostly because of their generalist profiles.

There is simply not enough time and resources for EOR service providers to offer recruitment services and all other EOR services to the degree of excellence that you, as a client, have a right to expect.

It’s not compliance if it’s only 99% compliance.

Payroll is no good if there are always subtle miscalculations.

Contract drafting is no good if your service provider omits culture and country-specific clauses.

Which is why we have chosen not to offer recruitment services at all, rather than compromise on the quality of the service we offer you.

That being said, we do understand the need for outsourced recruitment, especially for larger companies…

Because of our partnership with leading recruitment firm, CA Global

…Which is why we have partnered with CA Global, an industry-leading recruitment firm based in South Africa. We work intimately with the teams at CA Global and have, over and over again, witnessed the excellence of their services.

It is no small feat for us to recommend another service provider, but CA Global consistently meets our demands for quality.

How CA Global works

The headhunting team at CA Global’s Africa Recruitment always considers:

  1. The various national and cultural backgrounds of clients and applicants
  1. Companies’ organizational demands
  1. The value of quick hiring for companies operating in Africa

CA Global has a custom search engine, which allows them to locate the best applicants for employment in Africa.

With the use of these resources, their team is able to learn more about candidates, and go beyond their qualifications, assessing their soft skills and attitude as well.

Consequently, CA Global can also analyze the African market for their clients and develop requirements for the ideal applicant.

Why we trust CA Global

African recruitment is the area of expertise for CA Global. Over the past 15 years, they have been curating an impressive and varied database of highly qualified candidates in in-demand sectors across Africa such as:

  • Mining
  • Oil and gas
  • Engineering
  • Banking
  • Finance
  • Legal
  • Insurance
  • Commodities
  • Agriculture

Because we understand the importance of a perfect-fit candidate

Expanding to a new country is already complicated enough without having to deal with an employee who doesn’t quite match your values or meet your requirements. This is especially the case for SMEs.

It may be easy enough to find people with the hard skills and qualifications you need, but finding someone with the right attitude is something else entirely – which is why we believe it is so important for our clients – especially SMEs – to adopt a hands-on approach to recruitment.

Besides, once that first step is done, our clients can simply hand over to us. We will take care of all other employer obligations: drafting contracts, negotiating clauses, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, offboarding, and more.

Why Africa HR Solutions remains the right EOR choice

  • We are African specialists

We are not a global EOR – and this is something we are proud of. Being solely focused on Africa means that we understand the continent like no global EOR could. For us, Africa is not just a box to tick on a list of continents and regions. Africa is at the heart of all that we do, and all that we are as a company.

When our clients choose us, they choose proximity with Africa. They choose an African company to help them achieve African success.

  • We have a proven track record

We have helped over 400 companies achieve success in Africa, many of which were multinationals, Fortune 500 companies, and FTSE 100 listed organizations.

  • We prioritize excellence and take responsibility

This is evident from our promise of 100% guaranteed compliance. Because we are so certain of our team’s abilities, we also promise to take responsibility for any errors that may occur.

  • Our clients recommend us

SMEs, NGOs, and multinational companies alike trust and recommend our services. We have weathered all manners of adversity with our clients: from natural catastrophes to political upheavals, legislative changes, and more. This is why our clients recommend us: because we fulfill our promise of always being there to support them.
